Do you like sci fi? Aliens? Spookiness? Ghosts? What if I tell you there’s a webcomic that combines them all?

Yep! Saving the dead tells the story of lux magne, daughter of an alien ruler who wants seemingly nothing more then to destroy earth, their whole life changes when he not only destroys earth but also the humans who once lived on earth become ghosts and now start to haunt them, hilarity and plot ensues

I’m just a teenager making this webcomic for fun, and English is not my first language so expect some grammar mistake’s especially at the beginning

there’s also a lot of neurodivergent and lgbtq rep in it all based off my personal experiences with being both

Lux

Vee from the owl house!! Generally the designs of the corxians were heavily inspired by basilisks from the owl house

Newt

Han Solo obviously, but for his iconic ponytail I took inspiration from Simon from infinity train

Alaric

Mostly Korvo from solar opposites, but the blue clip that holds his cape together was inspired by ironman’s heart thingy

For the humans I was mostly inspired by Pinterest photos, I wanted them to look like ordinary people. To this day I wish I made Trent’s design more detailed tho

But for harper’s design I took a lot of inspiration from Quinni! Another autism icon! from heartbreak high. her actor Chloe Hayden is basically harper in real life and quinni’s style generally matches harper a lot

Guys i have to say something...Saving the Dead is cancelled because the creator (Ashe) died by walking into traffic while looking for liminal spaces.
